Base station

The iQunet base Station is the central node of the wireless network. It can serve an unlimited number of sensor nodes and repeaters within its range. Base stations are powered via a standard micro-USB connection from the small format iQunet DIN-rail Unix Server nearby which stores the sensor data. The Base Station is easy to attach to a wall or cabinet with our standard clips.

Repeater

When you need to bridge longer distances, an optional wireless repeater can be installed. The iQunet Repeater has a small footprint and can easily be attached to a wall or cabinet with our standard clips. To guarantee the speed of the network, only one Repeater is allowed between sensor and Base Station.  But the Repeater can on his turn connect to an unlimited number of sensors. It is powered via a standard micro-USB connection to a 5V USB charger (included) or via a rail mounted 5V power supply. The Repeater also has two, standard coin-cell batteries onboard which act as an uninterruptable power supply (UPS).

Actuator

Also the intelligent Actuators from iQunet can connect to an unlimited number of sensors, although to guarantee the speed of the network, only one Actuator is allowed between sensor and Base Station. The Actuator is powered via a standard micro-USB connection to a USB charger (included) or via a rail mounted 5V power supply. Our Actuators can also run on two standard coin-cell batteries which act as the unit’s uninterruptable power supply (UPS).  What iQunet Actuators make unique is their 24-volt switching output which can drive e.g. a PLC or a warning light. The intelligent actuator can work standalone if an internet connection is temporary unavailable.  iQunet actuators have a small footprint and can easily be attached to a wall or cabinet with our standard clips.
